From the Clayboard:
Clay will be performing at a special gala event for the Rosalynn Carter Institute on June 15 at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta. The Institutes webpage is at www.rosalynncarter.org
More information about the gala can be found at that website. The purpose of the event is to salute caregiverspeople who care for others who need help. This year the focus is on caregivers in the following roles: certified nursing assistant (CNA), licensed practical nurse (LPN), home health aid, and nurse`s aide/patient care technician.
The event is definitely open to the public. Seats are $25.00 for caregivers in the categories above and $100 for others. The event is dressy and I think it is black-tie optional.
The hall seats 1800 people and the acoustics are reported to be excellent.
There will be other performers at this event but Clay is the headliner. I have been told that he is doing at least two songs. One song planned is BOTW backed by a choir.
The event will be preceded by a silent auction. There will be food at the silent auction.
I have permission from the Institute to post on fan boards, so they expect there will be fans in attendance!
